I'm from Massachusetts, and a large part of my life just got bombed

I probably shouldn't be typing this right now, because I'm still really emotional, but my heart goes out to the victims, survivors, friends and families of the Boston Marathon Bombing.

The number of times I've run those streets along the course, volunteered, cheered on my friends, watched my dad training… Just knowing that something like this happened broke my heart into a million pieces. Those are my people, my friends, fellow runners. I've run races with these people, trained with them, supported them. I grew up with that race as a huge part of my life and my dad's life. Most of our friends are runners, most run in the Marathon. My dad has, I hope to do so some day too.

I've never been more effected by something like this in my life, and this has been the longest night of my life. I still don't know if any of my friends are okay, and I'm worried to death. I'm also worried for the hundreds and hundreds of people I don't know, runners are all a tight community and we all support each other.

To everyone, be strong. There's nothing that can be done after all this to bring back the people who have died and to erase what happened, but I really hope the best for everyone involved. I wish I could do something, all I can offer is good thoughts and positive energy.

Hey guys! Sorry, my phone wouldn't let me on until last night. Ugh. I'll reply to you all soon, cause I don't trust my phoneto do it lol sometimes it eats replies. But I'm hoping to get my computer back soon now that things have slowed down. Then I'll post more ripping corpse! Thanks for being patient!

Currently my big project is that I'm working on this comic version of some silly video a couple of my favorite hockey players did. Cause I'm planning on giving it to one of them when and I go to Pittsburgh next month! (the other guy plays for Vancouver) that is, if I can. I'm gonna try!

Sorry I've been so inactive on here, guys :C Seriously.

Well, I don't know how active I'm going to be for a little bit. I actually don't technically have a computer again. Technically. So I haven't been putting much up on here and updating things.

Though I've also been busy! Good busy! Last week I saw Testament with Flotsam and Jetasm (and also this band 4Arm from Australia) opening!!! It was so killer! And then and I hung out with Testament's bassist, Greggie, forever. It was amazing. He's the coolest <3

Then on Saturday and Sunday, we saw DRI!! Actually, we did merch for them. It was fucking amazing. And we had girl-talk with Kurt Brecht one night and dinner and ridiculousness with Harald Oimoen the other.

And in-between all that, we also went to a local show on Friday.

This is coupled with any and all life drama, work and hockey-watching. And some commission-work.

Oh and Tumblr. Fuck Tumblr. I guess I finally found out how addicting it is. Damn Tumblr.
